What is Feature Friday?
Every Friday during the school year we celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our Liberty students. These weekly spotlights showcase the diverse talents, achievements, and acts of kindness that make our students shine.
Zuri
Zuri Bayne has been in the Liberty Program since the 5th grade, and now, as an 8th grader, her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Over the years, she has shown tremendous growth—not only academically, but as a leader and role model. From volunteering at weekend events to stepping up to help her peers in class, she consistently demonstrates kindness, responsibility, and a genuine desire to see others succeed.
She has made her academics a true priority, continually challenging herself to reach higher and strive for excellence. Her dedication, maturity, and motivation set a powerful example for those around her. Zuri continues to grow into an exceptional young leader, and her future is filled with endless possibilities.
Aariana
Aariana Reid is an eighth-grade student who has consistently demonstrated dedication, balance, and leadership throughout her middle school years. As a committed athlete, she has played basketball every year of middle school and extended her passion for the sport by participating in travel basketball outside of school. Managing the demands of practices, games, and travel has helped her develop strong time-management skills and resilience.
Alongside athletics, Aariana has remained academically focused, maintaining good grades and showing responsibility and pride in her work. She’s also an active member of the yearbook club, where she contributes creativity and teamwork. We’re so proud of her and look forward to seeing all that she will continue to accomplish.
Antonia
Antonia is a remarkable high school senior who has been part of the Liberty family throughout her entire high school journey. From day one, Antonia has been a steady example of what it means to truly learn, grow, and give back. She consistently takes what she gains from her experiences and uses it to uplift and support those around her.
Antonia consistently maintains High Honor Roll status and was recently recognized as Athlete of the Week for Basketball, being featured on the news for her outstanding achievements on the court. Beyond her academic and athletic success, Antonia is known for her compassion, kindness, and genuine care for others—qualities that make her stand out in every space she enters.
We have absolutely loved watching Antonia grow into the confident, driven young woman she is today and cannot wait to see all that she accomplishes next. Congratulations, Antonia—we are so proud of you!
